We love to hunt and I love to cook so I am asking for any good recipes you might be willing to share.
I will share our family favorite:
Quail
Make a slit into the meat and insert a slice of cheddar cheese a spoonful of pickled jalapenos and then wrap a slice of bacon around it, secure the bacon with a toothpick. Then grill. |

Mmm that sounds great. Of course bacon makes everything taste good, the only way I can eat dove!
There is a great Weim Rescue cookbook that came out a couple years ago that has a lot of game recipes in it. I wonder if it's still available... |

I don't eat bacon... more precisely I do not eat beef or pork... and he eats and loves all of the above. |

| I"m the same way- I LOVE meat. Jill on the other hand- she will deal with a burnt hotdog and super crispy bacon. That's all the meat she desires. |

Could you not do that to ANYTHING besides quail and have it taste good?!  |
