he is such a good guy most of the time- and then not. he has come so far - right now hes on the couch sleeping. -- is it cabin fever or aggreision issues? he likes to get cal all riled up by nipping and pawing -- then runs for her to chase him.we have been spending alot of time w them in the garage and that is where they do great together- in the house not so well - thats where the nipping and pawing comes in to play. he is kept in his kennel and she is not.i cant imagine him having freedom of the house at 8 months - it took caL until almost 3 years old.

Not sure really what you're asking...or if you're asking anything at all? :D

This is what makes weims so much "fun" to live with. They are perpetual puppies, always getting into trouble and always inventing new "games." If your dog is only 8 months old then it probably isn't aggression, but you always do need to be on the lookout for signs of things you don't find acceptable. Your house, your rules and if too much nipping is going on for ANY reason, then you have the right to stop it. I personally don't ever want my dogs to put their mouths on kids, play or not.

At about 7 - 10 months weims seem to turn into little monster bent on driving their owners mad... but it's still hard not to love 'em. Enzo was a terror at this age as well. Hang in there. I would say, that if your pup is spending a lot of time in the kennel, alone without human company, or couped up inside, he/she probably needs some exercise. A tired weim is a happy weim, yanno?
