| I feed Oma's Pride which is a frozen raw diet and add to it, but with prices going up, I'm going to be researching my own raw diet and just get the meat from my local butcher. |

| We feed ProPlan Large Breed Puppy for now - it's Purina, but I wouldn't classify it as a grocery store brand, so I chose "others". |

i wrote "grocery food" just to explain the food you can easily find in grocery stores, not to downgrade that kind of food. |

We have Purina in the grocery stores and different Purina diets at pet stores and I believe Purina Pro Plan is only through pet stores. |

I feed Blue Buffalo Wilderness and I get it at PetSmart. Here's the website: www.bluebuff.com
I really like their company and Gracie has no more gas or runny poops. |

| I've changed over to Red Flannel Prime by PMI Nutrition. It is comparable to ProPlan Performance, but much cheaper. 50# bags run $22.50. |

Last night I came across an article called "Attitudes of holistic veterinarians" written by Jeff Grognet, DVM, in Dogs in Canada (August 2008).
"Attendees at the American Holistic Veterinary Medical Association annual meeting... ...were asked to fill out a questionnaire indicating the modalities they use to care for their patients, as well on their thoughts on nutrition and vaccines."
Regarding nutrition "60% support raw-food diets, either homemade, from pets stores or through Internet sources. Those who recommended commercial diets promote Wellness, Royal Canin, Flint River Ranch, Natura, Solid Gold and Innova." |

| I've been using, Innova, Solid Gold, and Canidae. Canidae is going out of my rotation and I'm going to start buying others like Orijen, California Natural, and Wellness (hopefully they all work well). |
