| I just moved and have yet with my new crazy schedule had time to hunt down the store 15 mins away that sells Canidae. I still had a small amount left, but knew I would need some food asap. The closest store to me didnt sell Canidae and the only "good" food I saw there was Wellness Core. I bought a small bag to mix with the remaining CAnidae I had left. Well after getting home I was reading the bag says only for dogs over on year of age. It is a grain free, high protien food. It actually says it is often substituted for raw when raw isn't convienent. Well I feed it to Butler twoce now and he has had MONSTEROUS yellowy puddy like poops all day. I am going to get some Canidae tomorrow, but Butler does LOVE the taste of the Wellness. hes 9 months old? Can a grain free-high protien food be bad for him? |

I use Wellness Core grain free for Jake. He does not tolerate raw anymore and with the lung cancer I don't want him to have carbs.
I am not sure I would give it to a weim puppy though. I have given it to the other three in a pinch with no problems. |
