An unneutered super thin male, tan weim showed up in the neighborhood. A neighbor asked me to care for him and I have looked and called everywhere to find his owner. It looks as though he had been journeying about 2-4 weeks. He is highly trained, I think as a hunting dog. It appears as if he fell out of a truck-he had abrasions on his right side, which are mostly healed now. He has gained a little weight and feels and looks much better. He has no microchip and the vet estimates he is 3-7 years old, but I think probably around 4 1/2-5. He is super lovable and gets along well with my elder Australian Shepherd, who is tolerating him. I wish I could keep him but it is impossible. This dog deserves a loving home. Other than his recent wounds healing, this dog has no physical flaws that I can see. He has a bit of tartar on some teeth, but other than this, he appears to be perfect and has a wonderful temperament to match. He also appears to have been an indoors dog as he craves to come inside, but I have 4 cats and worry about that. Please, someone, this is a wonderful dog. Call me at 334-220-6242 (JJ Martin) if you can give this guy a home. And please have references for me to call. Thank you.
