BURNS FLAT, OKLAHOMA WEIMARANER NEEDS HOME

THIS SWEET BOY WAS BROUGHT IN LAST NIGHT..I HEARD HE GOT TURNED IN BECAUSE HE POOPED IN SOMEONES YARD...HOW DARE HE...A DOG, USING A YARD FOR A RESTROOM..
A CALL TOLD ME NOBODY WOULD BAIL HIM OUT..HIS LIFE IS NOT WORTH THE $50 IMPOUND FEE...SOMETIMES, I GET THE FEE WAIVED...THIS TIME, FROM INFORMATION I RECEIVED, I DON'T THINK I WILL HELP THEM WITH HIM...

SO, HE NEEDS A SAFE RESCUE...HE IS VERY FRIENDLY, JUST VERY HYPER...I COULD NOT GET A GOOD PICTURE, FOR HE WOULD NOT SIT STILL...HE SITS WHEN YOU TELL HIM TO, BUT HE WANTED OUT SO BAD, HE ONLY SAT FOR A SECOND..
PLEASE, HE IS A GOOD AND LOVING BOY...IF YOU HAVE THAT SAFE PLACE, LET ME KNOW..

People are jerks. I think they should have to pay for them to KEEP the dog and rehome him, not to get him back!

Is there anyone on WA near his area that can get him into rescue asap???

even my 8 year old say the owners didn't deserve to own such a beautiful dog.
she said if charlie pooped in some ones garden/yard she would say sorry the the person and clean it up not give the dog up!

I am with Heartland Weim Rescue .... I just contacted the OK rep, left a message...I will update you when I get some more information. I hope we can do something for this guy.

I'm thinking the neighbor whose yard he pooped in is the one who called him in and got him picked up . . . and that his owners don't give enough of a sh*t to get him back. If they didn't care that he was roaming, it doesn't surpise me that they don't hold him to very high value.

I have been unable to get a hold of Heartland's OK Coordinator but I have been talking to my Iowa one and were trying to work through this. It's tough since we can't get a hold of the OK Coordinator.

Please keep trying... I just got this heartbreaking update:

HAD AN OFFER TO ADOPT THIS BOY...I THOUGHT IT WAS A GOOD HOME...SO, AS SOON AS I GOT OFF WORK, I HURRIED AND PICKED HIM UP AT THE POUND...HIS NEW MOM WAS GOING TO MEET ME HALF WAY, SO I DROVE THE HOUR TO THE PLACE WE AGREED ON.. HE WAS SO HAPPY TO FINALLY BE OUT OF JAIL...WE GOT THERE BEFORE HER (boy, did we ever ) SO I WALKED HIM...HE LOVED THE FREEDOM...THE GRASS...THE SIGHTS AND SOUNDS... FINALLY, AFTER OVER A HOUR OF WAITING, SHE ANSWERED HER HOME PHONE...I ASKED HER IF SHE FORGOT SHE WAS MEETING ME...SHE SAID."I SENT YOU AN EMAIL" ALONG WITH SOME BULL STORY ABOUT HAVING TO PICK UP HER SON... THE REASON I SAY BULL STORY IS BECAUSE WHEN I FINALLY READ THE EMAIL, IT SAID I AM SORRY BUT I HAVE TO GET MY SON AND CANT MEET YOU AND WOULD HATE YOU TO HOLD HIM SO FIND SOMEONE ELSE... INSTEAD OF HAVING THE DECENCY TO CALL ME, LIKE SHE DID WHEN SHE WANTED HIM, AND TELL ME SHE CHANGED HER MIND, SHE JUST SENT A BOGUS EMAIL AND NEVER MADE SURE I GOT THE MESSAGE.. SO, AFTER OVER A HOUR, WE HEADED BACK TO BURNS FLAT AND I HAD TO PUT THIS SWEETHEART BACK INTO HIS JAIL CELL...HE WAS DEVASTATED...I WAS FURIOUS...AND NOW, HE SITS THERE, SAD AND CONFUSED AS TO WHY, AFTER BEING SUCH GOOD BOY ON THIS TRIP, HE IS BACK IN THIS AWFUL PLACE... SO, YOU CAN SEE WHY I REALLY DESPERATELY NEED TO GET HIM OUT ASAP...HE IS HEARTBROKEN AND SO SAD... PLEASE, IF YOU CAN HELP HIM, LET ME KNOW ASAP...MY HEART IS BREAKING FOR HIM...

Thats so sad... I'm trying I just think everyone is so busy with this time of the year.... I just send an email to heartland's HQ so I hope it gets elevated, once again I will keep you posted if i hear anything.

That is soo sad. I want to go down there and take him, but I am pretty sure everyone but maybe Josie and Cache would kill me for bringing home another one.

Oh man, not another one in Oklahoma. Or anywhere for that matter, it just makes it harder for me when they're close. I feel horrible I can't take him.
