i took my poor boy to the vets he normally like the vets but i think he knew because as soon as we went in his tail went between his legs and he cried
they said to call at 2pm then i would be told how he was and when i can get him back. i know he'll be drowsy but what else should i expect? |

| He'll be fine....it is so much worse for us. Don't expect him to be quiet for too long. You'll be fighting with him to stay quiet...lol |

HAHA! Amelia puked for two days straight.
HOWEVER, I had to get my sister's lab from his surgery...he was just fine. Trying to bounce off the walls and everything. And only a few hours later the same day I had to go get my foster pup. He too was bouncing off the walls. Maybe it's a boy thing. |

| Mine was a little disoriented from the meds i think. She was just kinda tired and confused so she wouldnt relax unless i crated her. But it didnt last too long. |

| My old boy finally had to get castrated when he was having a hard time urinating at 11 years of age. I dropped him off in the morning, and picked him up after work around 5 PM. He didn't miss a beat. It was amazing. Took him home, and he promptly marked his territory and was just fine. |

| keeping them quiet while they heal is the hardest part - i have used benadryl to make them sleepy... but we all know that a nap = crazy excitement when they wake up. |

I second that! Sparty was more hyperactive the night he came home from his neuter than he was before I dropped him off! |
