Our new pup has a pretty good overbite. I've read that some of it may improve since the lower jaw grows slower, but this is bad enough that he's never going to have a scissor bite.
That's okay w/ me, as he's our pet, and we're not breeding, but I'm looking to find out if most dogs do fine or if this is an issue w/ eating etc. He seems to eat fine, and our vet says most dogs w/ overbites do just fine. Anything else we should know or be on the lookout for? Any experiences w/ your own weims? Is this common in weims?
Thanks! |

Aww..he's probably so cute with an overbite..can you get a picture of it? It shouldn't affect him. The vet will be able to tell you. I don't know what you could do about it though...it gives him character makes him special |
