I too have had the same problems with the Canidae as many of you. My dogs have been on Canidae for 2 1/2 years and since we've had the problem with Blazzing poops, I needed to change. I've done my research and have gone out and checked out, I swear, every brand on the market. We will be starting the switch over starting tonight. We are now trying "Chicken Soup for the Dog Lover's Soul" Holistic for Health. Contains: Fresh Chicken, Turkey, Duck, Salmon And Vegetable. This is as close the the former and beloved Canidae as I can come. The price is still very reasonable, very comparable to Canidae, but a bit cheaper. Check it out. I'll keep you posted and let you know how things are going.
Has anyone tried this brand? if so, how did they do with it. What are your views on the ingredients? |

| I am trying to give Canidae one more chance. This time, I am mixing the new formula with the old formula for an entire bag to see how it goes. If nothing else, it will stretch out the last bag of the old formula that I have! So far, pooh is not as firm as it was, but not runny puddin' poops, which is good. I'm hoping that I just didn't give the new formula enough time--and I certainly didn't do 1/2 and 1/2 as if I were switching to an entirely different brand. We'll see how this goes.... |
