I am switching dog foods from Iams to Canidae, do I need to slowly transition or can I go straight to the new dog food?
My puppy is 15 weeks today! |

| You need to make the switch gradually. |

Im switching from Science Diet to Canidae. I starting with just a small amount added to her food but I'm mixing about half and half now and will slowly go full. I haven't seen any side effects- she is adjusting well.

For a 15 week old puppy I would make the transition over a week ...
I wouldn't go half and half for your puppy at first...
Good luck I hope he enjoys it |

| Well it depends on how your dog was doing on Aims. If they were doing great on it and you are just changing to make sure they get better food, then i would suggest to gradually blend and switch. But if your dog is having major issues while on Aims then i would abruptly stop and switch to the new food. |
