Today is a very sad day for me. My second rescue was spayed yesterday and passed away this morning. She may have only been in my life for a few weeks but will always be remembered.

I am so sorry to hear about Frankie.

Being in rescue can be so heartbreaking. We had one that we had to put down two weeks ago because he had Lymphoma. He was a sweet boy.

Yes, today is a VERY sad day for Louisville Weim Rescue and Michele. Michele, you were a WONDERFUL foster mom to Frankie. You brought her into your home with open arms. You got her ear infections all cleaned up, all the sores all over her healed up. She was very loved by you and her sister Scarlet. My heart is broken right now for you and the family that was going to adopt her in just a few days.

Life is so unfair sometimes. Frankie had everything to live for now. She was going to be adopted out to a wonderful family this weekend. I just don't understand why things happen sometimes.

Michele...you did everything you could for sweet Frankie. May she now be at peace at the Rainbow bridge running and jumping as high as she can (she was a great jumper).
