An update on the car and how things are shaping up. The car itself is done. The lettering and numbers are going on this weekend. The promotional pictures with the crew, the car, and the two dogs will be taken Sunday weather permitting.
I have a very exciting and special announcement to make Sunday regarding two prospective sponsors we plan to bring on board. and I think Tri-state will be very pleased.
With that all said, This car is extremely fast. This dog will hunt as they say. |

OK, I'll make the announcement now. We have Omni Electromotive inc. as a pledge/sponsor. What this means is, Every top five finish I get they will donate $5.00 to tri-state. We are working on two other veterinarians to do the same. This will bring the top five finish donations up to $15 per. Not bad if I'm as competitive as we hope. We race every Saturday night from April 18th to The end of Oct. That could add up to a nice sum for my favorite rescue operation.

Here are some pics of the hood and other things. Tomorrow doesn't look good for the photo op. It's supposed to be in the 40's AND it's open practice at the track. Maybe pics of the full car me and the dogs next weekend.

Here's a pic of my chief competition....Rich "Cowboy" Sharpsteen.
He's fast, Really, really fast. We watched him at the other tracks practice last night. His car will run to. Should be a gun fight between the two of us once I get my set-up figured out. |
