Yesterday we left Benji in his downstairs crate while we went back to school shopping. We were all worried about him and trying to get back home as soon as possible, but when we returned, Benji was sleeping comfortably on the couch!! He managed to opened the crate and escape, this has happened twice now!
Surprisingly, he didn't destroy or chew on anything in the house.
Sneaky Weimy! |

Duke has done this a few times too. He is generally not destructive so it's not really a bit deal to me BUT Gracie can be destructive, so I told my husband "if he figures out how to bust Gracie out of her crate we're in trouble"! |

Yikes, thats frightening!
The other morning I woke up to a dog licking my face...she got out of her crate! I am hoping that its because i didn't close it properly in the middle of the night when i took her out to pee... but what if she actually figured out how to get out on her own?!?! I heard her licking something a lot in her crate... do you think she could have used her tongue to get the locks open? Is that crazy?
OMG our beautiful couch...I am worrying about it already. I just hope that the first thing Yoko destroys is just like the garbage... yikes! |

i'm glad fooky and miley can't get out of their crates. my house would be a mess. i would have chewed up barbies everywhere. i'll keep my fingers crossed that neither of them figure it out. |

Speaking of this I found Jager yesterday with half his head out of the wire cage when I got home. He bent the wire back and he managed to get his head thru but he couldn't get it to open so he was stuck. I have no idea how long he was like that I felt so horrible. |

One of Ace's crates is in a dog-proof area where he can roam safely when we're not home. My in laws came over to let him out the other nite and when they put him back in his crate, they didn't latch it. (thinking if he wanted out after they left, he would just nudge the door open) He was sleeping in there when we got home. I guess that shows he doesn't even try the door....
Maybe he is not a weim?? LOL |
