Jaeger (7 years old, 85 pounds) has severe chronic tendonitis in one of his front legs. The tendons above one of his dew claws are swollen despite 5 weeks of no running, no jumping, etc. The diagnosis was confirmed by ultrasound.
An orthopedist prescribed DMSO and inactivity for several more months. He was unaware of any other treatment or passive support.
I have been using a tranquilizer to reduce Jaeger's activity, but he is still very frustrated. We tried a splint, which lasted only several hours.
Does anyone have any experience with this type of injury or possible passive support? |

| I wish I had some advice for you. I hope your boy feels better soon. It sounds terrible. |
