Scout's little sister is here!

Postby emily » Fri Aug 24, 2007 7:31 pm

Just wanted to drop you all a note to let you know that we had a baby girl on August second. She weighed 6 lbs 8 ounces and was measured to be 20 inches long. We named her Meredith Rose(we call her Meri for short). Scout is being a very good big brother and is adjusting well to his new furless sister.

Here's some pics of her:

So beautiful. I love babies, especially little girls! My parents divorced right around when my little sister was born (she's 10 years younger than I am) so my mom had to work for the first time in her life and I had a BIG hand in raising her. Ever since I've been dying to have my first daughter! Crazy huh, usually it's girls that can't wait to have kids haha.

Anyways, this post is about YOU not me! Congratulations!! Luckily, if you had Scout as a puppy, this should be cake compared to raising a Weim! Haha.

Nope, kids are definitely more work, can't crate them when you leave.

You can't????? Darn! Now I'm definetly not having kids. Three stepkids is ENOUGH!

I TOLD Mom I was the only kid in class that had one! She gave me the whole "Well I don't care what all the other kids are doing!" speech.

It's not so bad though, I just pee in one corner and sleep in the other. At least she leaves the radio on for me.

:purplex: I think perhaps we encourage the boy too much.
