| yummy squirrel..lol I can't wait to visit the in laws they had a good nut season. And live out in the middle of no where.. so my husband one day sat out side with his 22 and took care of about 17 of them and did this from a lawn chair. But last year was a small year. If you really want to get rid of it I would suggest a trap too. I am just one of the weird one that happen to like eating squirrel. |

You know the funny thing is, this weekend the little *illegitimate child* had a new friend he was running through the trees with. They were playing pretty rigourously and the new one knocked the old one out of the tree. It was about 12 feet up or so and the little *poop* landed on it's back. Greta and Bo were facing the other direction about 6 ft away and the *poop* was able to get up and run back up the tree. I was so miffed. I thought, man, this is it. Now is their chance to get it. Of course dumb and dumber were watching a butterfly that time. LOL! |

| Declare War and find a neighbor kid with a Pelet gun. I have eliminated many TREE RATS with such a weapon. Head shots and then turn them into squirel gravy and biscuts. Just my 2 cents...... |

We also had SERIOUS squirrel problems last year (ate so many holes in our garage, the whole thing had to be re-roofed!) Anyway, we did the bb gun thing, the humane trap thing and they still kept eating away. Finally, contacted a pest control company. Their squirrel "specialist" came out and told us all the trapping and relocating in the world would not help. The little buggers just keep returning to the same location. The only way to really keep out the ones who get into buildings and nest there is to trap and "dispose" of them. Now, we love animals as much as anyone, but, we had no choice. After the workers got into the roof of the garage, they found the little tree rats had nested in there! Our "specialist" told us that squirrels who are born in buildings will go back to buildings to nest themselves. He trapped 6 of them in all and took care of them. We have had no problems since. I know that this is method will probably not be looked upon in a good light, but we really had no other alternative.
Good luck.....you're gonna need it |

ROFLMAO! I'm telling ya that's him but with little red demon eyes. We are going to try the trap thing. We are vegetarians so no squirrel bbq for us. Let's hope the traps work. 5am this morning the little fudder was at it again and Greta was half way up the tree, she has sap on all of her pads now. ARGH! |

Here is one of my resident squirrels. Isn't it big? I have to admit that is one fine looking tail though.
Here the little booty head is getting ready to dig up my basil.
I hate youoooooooooo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! LOL Notice the acorn in his hands.

So the squirel's acomplices have since found my house. This little *illegitimate child* is torturing Jack. We have a nice sized picture window in our living room and of course ~ a giant tree in our front yard.
I'm convinced that this squirel is dancing up and down the tree just to aggravate my dog. Then this morning as I'm walking out to my car, I see the little *illegitimate child* sneak into my backyard - not by tree, but by climbing through my chainlink fence!!! No wonder why jack is getting irritated, this little *illegitimate child* comes and goes through the fence knowing if he's on the outside, Jack can't get him! |

The good (?) thing is winter is around the corner and if you live in the part of the country where it gets cold the little booger heads will hunker down and hibernate, and all the pups will get a nice reprieve until spring. When you get to do it all over again. |
