I am so excited he started retrieving tonight for the first time outside. We've been training inside with a treat inside of the ball. He was bringing it back some but it is so different outside.
I'd throw it, and he would bring it back. The entire time he was coming back with it I was saying good boy and I had a treat ready for him when he dropped it. Then it got funny. Since he got a treat every time he dropped it, if I didn't pick the ball up fast enough he would just pick it back up, drop it and then look at me for an other treat. It was so funny. |

| Oh that's funny! Sometimes Holly does that but not because I have treats for her. It's like she's messing with me. She drops it, I go to pick it up, she grabs it and drops it again, I go to pick it up, she grabs it, I walk away. LOL! Then she follows me with it rubbing the slobbery thing all over my leg. |

That is great! Retrieving is a great way to exercise your pup! Scout loves to play Frisbee. I like it because she runs really hard and I don't have to |
