Rash

Postby matttrue » Wed Jul 14, 2010 1:30 am

Tucker has a weird looking rash on his belly its about 2 inches wide and about 6 or 8 inches long from his junk to the middle of his rib cage. He doesn't seem to be bothered by it. I mean he is not scratching at it or anything.

Any suggestions? Think I am going to give him some benadrill and put soem neosporne on it to see if that takes care of it.

Love the video!

I don't medicate - I just think that we live in a society that every bump and bruise (rash in your case) has a medical cure and people are always quick to medicate....if it's not bothering Tucker than give it 24 hours and see what it's like.

Thanks for the reply funny how when I was a kid our dog never went to the Vet and lived forever..... Our guy is becoming a country dog and he has has plenty of scrapes and scratches, thanks for keeping things real and giving perspective. That is great advice everyone should get. His toenail avulsion does kind of concern me. Liquid bandaid seems to be working ok but he ripped his whole nail off the quick. Wasn't nor has it been bleeding since I have noticed it just going to take a while before the nail grows back I guess.

Thanks again
