There seems to be a noticeable improvement today ! I even took the collar off for awhile - give her a chance to groom herself a bit and just to lay around without it on. The Rimadyl has made an incredible difference in her mobility! I'm always hesitant to give meds, but this is one that I think I'll continue with as long as it seems to be helping.
As for her rash - that seems to be improving as well.
Anyway, just thought I'd let you all know how she's doing. Thanks again for all the well wishes! It seems as though my "tubby" is going to be ok for awhile !!!!!!
edit: not sure where i got my info from, because i just double checked the ingredient list and wellness has NO wheat. so what on earth could she be allergic to?????? |

| Glad she's feeling better. Are you having her liver levels checked if you are keeping her on Rimadyl long-term? |

This is the first I have ever given it to her. I'll probably keep her on it for the next few days until she gets through this, then take it from there. But if I decide to keep her on it, then yes we'll get her levels checked as necessary. |

Eh, she's ok. We stopped the benadryl and she doesn't seem to be licking, although we still have the collar on her. She's moving around ok, but I gave her another Rimadyl this morning. I think I'm coming to terms with the fact that she's never going to be great again, but I'll settle for just ok - and taking things day by day. She will be closely watched from here on out. |
