I've read that puppies begin to lose their baby teeth at about 3 months of age but Anubis just turned 11 weeks and he lost his 2 bottom front teeth tonight.
Should I worry or is it normal for some pups to start to lose their baby teeth this young? Thanks! |

All dogs mature at slightly different times but the normal time that pups start to loose their baby teeth is 3-6 months. By 6 months they should have all their adult teeth in. most of the time you won't find the tooth either it will get caught on something or they will swollow it. Not harmful in any way. I was lucky and found a few teeth from both our girls. i saved them and put it in their puppy book!!!!! So sound slike your little one is right on schedule |

| Thanks for the info, I kind of freaked out when I saw that he was missing his 2 front teeth. I was thinking that it was too early for him to start losing his baby teeth and that he must have chewed on something hard while I wasn't looking. He is always picking up rocks and sticks to chew when I take him for walks. |
