| Our 8 month old weim seems very gassy....he's always letting out gas when he stretches (very funny) and he's always making burping sounds (sounds like a frog)...is this normal or could it be his food? |

I've noticed my dogs get gassy if
a)they eat something other than their regular food including sticks and such.
b)they don't get their daily yogurt
c)they get too many treats |

| Burping is good after they eat as it releases gas build up in their stomach but your weim shouldn't be gassy all the time. Our first weim was terribly gassy and had loose stoll so we switched her diet and gave her higher qualiy treats and it stopped the gas and soft stool. However, it did take us 3 brands before we found the one that she did best on. Since then we have never switched brands and she is great. She only gets gassy now if she has raided the garbage, LOL |
