let's say...weimaraner are too smart for their own good...so let's say it kind of happens often with a weimaraner.... |
Well, eating chicken nuggets or a box of tissues is one thing, but some of the photos I saw are of major destruction.
Thats why I asked (no offense to the oweners of those dogs), if it was a result of a lack of training, lack of toys, etc..... |

I think it depends on the dog. Derek hasn't ever destroyed pillows but if I leave a Kleenex box in reach forget it. He also loved the garbage can so I got they type with foot peddles. He also chewed on dresser drawers.
But all of that was when he was a puppy. he hasn't done any of that chewing in months. |

Wilson has been sooo good lately, but you know it never lasts!
He decided to go out the window, destroyed the screen. He did this the other day except it was the kitchen window. It appears he has decided to make his own doggy door, as I come home and he is back in the house! I really need to remember to close all windows when I leave!

| I've only had my little guy for 2 weeks and nothing has been destroyed, but he is a little kleptomaniac. ALL the toys/bones, etc get carried into his crate. I was visiting my folks and he stole all their cats toys even a giant thing the cat sleeps in he could barely carry and trotted off to his crate! It was pretty funny. |

This is definitely one of my favorite threads. I love reading everyone else's stories and had hoped never to be posting my own!
Why do I have a bad feeling it won't be the last??? |

The pics on this thread make me glad my two girls are well behaved, non- destructive seniors!

Yoko's usually good about only chewing her stuff. We let her chew on her own bed - she always chews the corners off. Funny thing is that she never chews it when its in her crate. She always drags it out of her crate then does the chewing.
So this morning we went out for about 2 hours. We just got new pillows for our bedroom, so the old pillows were placed on top of the crate out of convenience.
We got in the car and I said something about the pillows to my husband. We both had this feeling that we might come home to a mess, but we were in too much of a hurry to go up and move the pillows.
So here you go... Yoko's first weim crime. Sorry for the poor quality pics - they're just from the cell phone.
My kids thought the whole things was hilarious... it looked like it snowed in her crate.
Like icicles hanging from the roof!!
Oh there she is, the sneaky little devil. How I love her to bits! |
