I agree. Both were wrong. Driving at over 100mph is just stupid, but the office was a real d*!k too.
Years ago I had a golden retriever who had fallen ill late at night. I was rushing him to the hospital and I ran a red light (AFTER I stopped and looked) I saw the cop sitting at the gas station but i didnt care. Well of coarse he stopped me. I explained the situatoin and gave me an escort to the vets. And NO ticket.
There is a petition to sign if you think this cop should be fired. I signed...just the blatant lack of compassion for this poor guy and his dying dog....what a shame!
Hey. First post here but I had to reply. This video makes me SICK. That cop needs to lose his job like now. I realize the guy shouldn't have been driving so fast but what happened to compassion? The comments he made were horrible. I've been in this situation with my dog and know what the guy was going through.
Here's the link to the police dept and a statement from there.
I'll be sending them an email as well as signing the petition.

Heartless individuals, there appeared to be more then one involved .. I do understand the officers concern with the speeding BUT once he found out what was going on he should have offerred to assist these people ..
"Just a dog, you can get another one" WTF ever jerk ..
I emailed the mayors office, the chamber of commerce and the police chief to let them know how disgusted I am in the officers attitude. I sure has hell won't be spending my money there if that behavior is ok.
