Sierra has been at the shelter for quite a while. I hope someone with a place for a special Weim finds her soon.

The adoptions pets held at a location...how does this work as far as people adopting?
Can people adopt on the spot?
How do they go about references?

Their information is sort of confusing -- apparently they have midweek adoptions with an approved application, and they screen all applicants -- but it doesn't say if they can do same day adoptions on the weekends. Maybe if they fill out the application during the week so references can be checked?

Around here, some do have same day adoptions, but not all do. I wonder, on the ones who do if they do a vet check and reference check. One of our cats and one dog were adopted in a nearby city shelter, they did no checking.
