So the rain just won't stop this week. We've had 3-4 days of continual downpour. The doggies have only been able to walk for short bursts and not getting their usual romp and play.

So when I did my grocery shopping, I found that they had these decoy birds for $2.00. Sounds like a good bargain to me since Elsa is quite a bit birdy!

We went for a quick walk around the block while Daddy placed the birdies in the house.

I hope I stimulated their minds for a few moments! Confused

Mommy- Did you know there is a birdy above my favorite sunning chair?

Ben Ben found the birdy too!

I think it's the funniest $2.00 I've spent for a while.

ha ha...that is so funny! Glad you spent it because it totally made me laugh as well. I bet my new foster Jovi would love those. She is obsessed with watching the birds.

I agree! That's a great idea! When Zane sees a fly or a moth he walks around scanning the walls to try to find another one....he would love to find something like that! He's very intent on watching birds when they are in his vicinity but has never chased one or caught one.

good idea. i'll have to try it out. Fooky and Miley love watching the birds. i think if fooky ever caught one he would just bring it to me and when he opened his mouth to drop it, it would fly away. he is very soft mouthed. i can give him a piece of bologna, he'll get the whole thing in his mouth, walk away, put it on the carpet and look at it until he decides he wants it. when the bologna comes out of his mouth there are no marks on it what so ever. you would never imagine it was in a dogs mouth.....same with a hot dog. Miley eats hers so fast i don't think she even tastes it.
