| gunnar has these small bumps and flaking skin on the nape of his neck and also these light colored spots along his spine to his tail. The hair appears to have thinned out on theses spots. It seems to me that this is exactly where I applied sentry pro flea control last month. Has anyones dog ever had a reaction like this to flea control ointment? |

This can be a common problem with over the counter Topical flea products. Because it is a pesticide it can cause a reaction on the skin and yes hairloss, scabing, ect can be side effects.
I swear by the oral medications for flea prevention that you can get at the vets. They are much safer and don't cause reactions. |

| Zehen is allergic to any flea and tick prevention that is applied to his skin. I give him Comfortis- a flavor tab- that I get from my vet. It only prevents fleas though. For the ticks I just make sure I check him after each time he goes outside. |
