Does anyone know much about this food??? I was in the pet food store for 2 hours talking to the owner and reading labels today. The new Canadae food is NOT working for Schatze since the ingredient change so I was forced to change her food.
My final choices were California Natural and Innova. I was hoping that you guys new more than I did about this brand... |

Innova and CN are both made by Natura Pet.
http://www.naturapet.com/
I use CN herring and sweet potatoes and my dogs love it. CN cost me about $1 per pound and I can grab it from a local pet store.
Innova might be consider higher in quality but cost here is around $2 per pound.
I believe picking food are up to the dogs and see which one the dogs prefer. My local pet shop have samples of both food. If not, buy a 5 to 10 lbs bag and see which your dogs prefer.
Good luck! |

I am debating between these two foods now as well...I have now been testing Wrench to see which he prefers...he always eats both but always goes for the innova first and gobbles it even after sniffing the cn before he goes abck to gobble the innova.
I really wanted less ingrediants that cn had to offer but upon further investigatig I am wondering if they took out too many good ingrediants to be a good one....innova offers more meat in theirs too ( cna't remember which kinds I was comparing right now as I am not home) . So this weekend I have to have a final decision and I am now leaning mroe towards the innova...
My question would be if anyone can give reasons not to head that way I would like to hear them...or either way really. |

| Wilson was on the CN Herring and Sweet Potatoes. We loved it at first, but after a couple of months he refused to eat it...he would just push it around with his nose. It also made him have runny stools. We were told that this was because of the rich ingredients. |
