First i would like to say i am very very sorry for your loss. I hope that you are doing ok. please keep in touch on the site if you are up to it! I do know that when the kidneys fail it is horrible and so painful- mine failed in 04 and i am lucky to be here, i remember thinking God just let me die i dont want to have all the ,ivs, cathaters, medication, and a tube in me cleaning out my blood. So if it makes you feel any better- he is in a better place and is not in pain anymore-

I just lost my Alex last night. I cannot express how much I loved her and how deep the pain is right now. she was my best girl and was loved on every day of her life. She ended up with Kidney Failure and a very bad GI bleed. I find myself second guessing the decisions i had to make. I dont know what to do next. I loved her very much.

How terrible. My condolences.
It is easy to second guess yourself at a time like this but I am sure your choices were made with love and her comfort in mind.

Wow...I am sorry for the loss of Alex and Petey, that is just horrible and I am not looking forward to the day when something happens to one of my four, I will be a complete MESS!
