| Somewhere here I saw a post about a homemade ear cleaning solution, but like a dummy, I did not print it out, can't remember where it was posted so I can't find it again. Annie's ears are TERRIBLE and I wanted to get something that will be gentle on her the first few times. Thanks, I would appreciate any and all help. |

There are a variety of homemade cleaners.
Personally, I used dilute alcohol (1 part water:1part 90% isopropyl alcohol) or alcohol vinegar mix (1 part alcohol:1 part vinegar). Some people dilute the alcohol vinegar mix with water in a 1:1:1 ratio.
For problem ears you can use the blue powder cleaner which is: 16oz of 70% isopropyl alcohol, 4 tbsps of boric acid powder, 16 drops of 1% gentian violet solution. |
