A lot of the info I find online for these dogs says the adult weight is 55-70 pounds. The father of the litter I am buying from now is 75 pounds...
Where are all of these mammoth dogs coming from? 70 pounds at 8 months? 140 pound adult males?
Is it normal to have such a wild size range like that? Just genuinely curious. Partly out of fear, because I talked my wife into getting "about a 70 pound dog". If he ends up weighing 3 digits my wife will friggin' divorce me.
(VERY beautiful dog, BTW) |

Poor breeding, TBH, although I don't think 70lbs @ 8 mos is that out of the ordinary. |

| Thats a big boy! They grow up soooo fast. Jager is 6 months also and he ways about 47 pounds. Of course he looks huge next to Eva's 10 pounds. |

Hooch's parents are both large.. 108 for dad and 95 for mom.. they are more like german weims, than american lines. both purebred, and pure muscle. truly beautiful pups.. my breeder is an exceptional hobby breeder, as she has only had 2 litters thus far, and that may possibly be it.. i have hooch's pedigree way back to his great great grandparent's.. all in good health..
i agree, that most weims are not in the triple digits.. but some are, hooch most likely will be, and i do not believe it is a result of poor breeding or over eating/ under exercising..
end rant.. sorry.. i got a little offended. |

| The king size bed picture cracks me up. We just bought a king size a few months ago because Trinity and I kept pushing my husband off the bed. |

I sure didn't mean to stir up any ill feelings... I guess I could have chosen my words more carefully. I was just genuinely curious why there was such a wife variation in weights; some dogs being twice the breed standard, etc.
I certainly don't want to upset Hooch's mom, because your YouTube videos are some of the most watched by my two kids while we're waiting for our pup to hit 8 weeks! |

apology accepted.. i can get a little sensitive about my boy.. this isn't the first time he's been accused of being mixed or not purebred because of his size..
