It is weimaraner rescue of the south. (www.weimrescue.com). I live in Huntsville, and the rescue is overflowing. We just received a little boy who the Atlanta Rescue has agreed to take in. I really wish we could take this little boy, but it is not an option right now. This breaks my heart.
The animal services here has a no kill section, I am not sure how they determine which dogs go there though. |

| I am the surrender coordinator with WRS and unfortunately we cannot pull any dogs from shelters at the time being because of lack of foster homes, but I did call about this boy and the shelter told me he was "safe" and in the adoption side of the shelter. |

Thank you for letting us know.
It sounds like all of the rescues are short of foster homes. Hopefully this will change so more dogs -- of all breeds and mixes -- can be helped.
I hope that someone finds Chance soon... so many are waiting. |
