| Hi, WRS cannot pull any more dogs at this point in time, we just can't afford it, we are currently boarding around 12 and cannot afford to board anymore. There is a male in EastBank Animal Shelter in Jefferson, LA that is strong heartworm positive and has been attacked by another dog in the past month or so. The attack left one side of his face infected from the bites. The shelter is treating him for the bites. If anyone knows of a rescue group that could help this boy please have them email me at Toniahanson@mac.com and I will put them in touch with the shelter or if someone wants to call the shelter directly that would great too.
