I don't know for certain, but from what I could find, they are. At least the Animal Control section, I don't know how it would apply to the "Adoption Center" they have. But -- one thing about 'no kill' shelters, when they are full, they are full. If another dog needs to come in and there is no space, the new dog could end up in a kill shelter.
Hopefully someone will know for certain if they are or not... |

| I was just wondering because if the dog is at risk of being put down I can check to see if the Louisville group could find a foster home to take it in, but right now we are full as well and short on foster homes. |

| Oh..these poor dogs. I hate people. I got an intake tonight, a 6 yr old female. The e-mail said "I have a female weim that has to go"....aaaarrrghhhhh. I spoke to this woman and asked her what was wrong with the girl....she said "there is really nothing wrong with her, I just don't like her, don't like the disposition of a weimaraner. My husband got her and I never agreed to it and I am always the one that has to care for her." If I could just reach through that phone and grab their f&#$ing throats, I would. |

| She is still with the family in New Wilmington, PA. They are leaving for vacation tomorrow and taking her with them. They also have her advertised in a local newspaper. I did ask her to be very careful who she places her with. Apparently they placed her once and she came back because she was showing dominance to the other non-weim dog in the family..uh. duh....she's a female weim... |
