Favorite Weim story/memory

my favorite memory is when we went to pick up tommy. i wanted him so bad, and waiting a month was awful. the day we picked him up and brought him home, we had to drive 2 hours. i put him on my laps, rolled in a blue baby blanket and he slept through the all trip. i kept looking at him and sighsing, i was in love already and i couldn't believe he was finally MINE!
(my husband tells me i still look at him with the same eyes sometimes...)

I'll see if I can find a way to get it online. My camcorder is an old school Sony and the tapes we use are the mini's. Anyone know how to convert it?

One of my favorite Cache memories is when we first brought him to my parent's house. He met my sister's four kids and was a bit intimidated by them all as they are young and hyper. The then-four year old began throwing a fit. My sis decided it was time to go home so she loaded all of the children out in the car. Cache walked out there with us to say goodnight, hopped in the car, sat right down in front of Owen, the crying child and would not budge. Finally, Aaron had to come carry him out. Silly protective dog.

One of my favorite Josie memories is from when we took her to a lake. She was standing on the edge of lake, watching some birds. The birds took off, so she took a flying leap to go after them and SPLASH. She was a couple feet out in the lake, trying to figure out how to swim. I guess she didn't realize it was water she was jumping into! Laughing

Elly - she had been sick most of her short life with immuno... my favourite memory of her was when she ate for the first time in weeks... the only thing she would eat? The christmas ham!! it was the best christmas present!!

Sparky - she was 10 months or so when we picked her up from her breeder... she jumped straight into the car and didn't look back.

Tansy - my favourite memories of her was when we used to go to the park together... she was my best friend and protector. I used to play on the bars and she used to sit underneath, keeping watch.

Ari - i am sure there are many more to come, but my favourite of her actually happened yesterday... i allowed the dogs to choose one toy from their toy draw. she picked a soft dog toy, and James picked a bear... James dropped the bear, and maddam came tearing along with her dog in her mouth, zoomed past, picked up the bear and spend the next five minutes teasing poor James with both toys in her mouth!! it was a classic moment.

i have SO many funny stories about my comedian gracie.. but i loved the day i picked her up.
i was in petsmart just grabbing a few things (toys, etc) for her, and she was dead asleep at 8wks old in the part of the cart where kids sit, you know? anyway, some people came up and said 'oh my god a weimaranaraner (said just like that) puppy! where did you get her?' and i jokingly said, 'over in aisle 3, they have a special on them.'
they ran for aisle 3.
i checked out and left pretty quick after that. Smile

I love all my memories of Kasper, but my most favorite was a recent one. I was going somewhere with a friend and she has bad eye sight so she lets me drive and we brought Kasper along. She dog sits him sometimes and he really likes her...sometimes I think he likes her more than me...LOL Well her Tahoe has bucket seats and Kasper wanted to be in the front so he crawled onto the console and then onto her lap practically. It was so funny I about died laughing! I got a pic of it, but it was hard to see what he was doing. I'll try to post it soon!
