| I need to get a thermometer for the dogs. Can someone give me an idea what to look for? Petco only has one online and same with Dr. Foster and Smith! Thanks! |

| I'd just get a little digital one from a pharmacy - probably in the baby section. Check the back to make sure it can be used rectally. |

Yes we got ours from the local drugstore too. They were in the section with all the other thermometers but just as the pharmacist. Make sure they can be used rectally and I like the ones that are both in Fahrenheit and Celsius. The normal dog temp is 38.5 - 39.0 celsius and about 99. 5- 100 fahrenheit
Hope this helps. Oh you may also want to pick up some lubricating jelly ( not vasaline) for when you have to use the thermometer. You weim will thank you!
