I was just told that Atlanta Weim faxed for this girl... *whew*... just avoided divorce again, LOL! 
And another person had also spoken up to take her, so the bases were well covered. A (((BIG HUG))) THANK YOU to everyone for helping this girl!!

Can I just say that I HATE Georgia!! No offense to those who live there but, this is crazy. There has got to be something that can be done.
And...we only pay attention to the weims in shelters...can you imagine all of the other dogs in shelters there???? 
I really hope someone can save this little girl. If I were closer I would go get her.
BTW Lynn, I am with you...more time and more money and I would start my own rescue ranch. |

She looks so sad and afraid. I hate the way they say 'this animal will be no longer available after such and such date..."
I need a surplus of money.... I need to take them all in. Joey and I were joking the other day about hitting the lottery, and I said I just needed a few hundred million, lmao. Then he paused and said "Oh great. If we win, you'll open up a Weimaraner farm and have thousands won't you?"
I replied "OF COURSE!" |

I've passed her info on to the Weim911 list—Weim Rescue of Atlanta members will get it and I'm guessing there may be Weim Rescue of the South members, too, on that list.

It is awful... I try to help other breeds of dogs, too. I think I've joined 6 or more breed forums as well as general forums, like Best Friends & Petfinder. And mailing lists...
But sometimes just getting the word out does help some of the dogs—the senior pointer that I posted for made it into a foster home and is happy:
Don't worry, I'll be on top of this girl's situation & will get her help somehow, some way! She was found on my birthday, too... how weird is that!  |

I don't thing Georgia is so bad. If you look at petfinder you don't see too many dogs in Georgia..........
OH, AL and other states are worst.... |
