Here is the story, The track officials have apparently decided that "the good old boy" crowd should not be touched in anyway. However it's fine for "the good old boy " crowd to crash, slam into, purposely take out to cause cautions, etc us new and non regulars. Three of us in two different divisions have been black flagged for being in the wrong place at the wrong time. Yep there was a favorite involved in an accident that we happened to be involved in as well. We all get the black flag and kicked out of that race. This is unacceptable, My two friends have decided to race elsewhere, I have no other track that is a reasonable distance to drive to with gas at over $4 gal. However I will not be pushed around and treated this way when spending well over $100 a week at this venue to race. Unfortunately that's story folks.
Again I am sorry we couldn't run a full season for tri-state. And all winnings I have from week one till now will be donated to tri-state wiem rescue. |
That's stupid. Gotta love when politics and favortism infiltrate every acticity one may start to enjoy. |

Well just a tentative agreement between me and a junior driver tonight may get the tri-state wiem rescue/omni electromotive/town&country vet hospital ford mustang back on the track.
I sadly will probably not return behind the wheel, However Cody Morehouse age 15 may be behind the wheel for the remainder on the season.
This is a non money paying division and for junior drivers between the ages of 13 and 16 yrs of age. This is raced at Black rock speedway in Dundee N.Y. I feel this deal will give tri-state good publicity as well as keeping young Cody out of trouble Friday nights. BTW folks, He is currently 2nd in over all points with three wins this year, His car was unfortunately totaled last weekend in an accident. |

OK, After a much drama filled season, Like stock car racing isn't drama filled! It should be called as the track turns.
Anyways, Finial race weekend was this weekend, Friday night I finished 8th out of a 25 lap feature event. Yay! Top ten!
Saturday I ended up 7th in a 50 lap feature event YAY #2...Top ten!
I am so tired and sore after this weekend it isn't funny! My arms feel like jello! The final tally on what Tri-state gets will be posted as soon as I get the checks from Blackrock speedway....Thanks guys!

Yes those were two of my best finishes this season.
Also the race Saturday was a 50 lap "open rules" race. Pretty much "run what ya brung" rules. There were some extremely fast cars that finished behind us. My exhaust broke about 10 lap into the feature, YAY! flames and back fires into the car for the rest of the race....was fun at times, But as cold as it was I wasn't complaining, was kind of like a heater! And we got some good PR for the rescue this weekend as well.
Also, Christina, It is the least I can do for them. They have given me two wonderful dogs. Even if one is a moody little witch at times. *cough cough* Ashley *cough*. |
