I was browsing through the local shelter's websites and just came across these two adorable Weimies at the SPCA of Anne Arundel County, Maryland.

Amy OMG this is breaking my heart! They look so thin, if you look at the pictured up close you can see their hip protruding.

They are thin. I thought Astro was a puppy. He is just so small. How sad. I hope someone can give them a good home.

I want to take these two, but I just don't have the room. I am going to have to visit these guys this weekend now...

They are still there...waiting to be adopted. The SPCA doesn't release many dogs to rescues that they feel are adoptable so they'll likely hang on to these two until they find their permanent home. I was told that they are very picky about who they adopt Weims out to also.

Well, I hope they are picky. Is that DC Weim Rescue's area?? I know I have taken in a few from MD.

Is there an e-mail address for them so I can send them my contact information?? In case they decide they want help with them.

Yeah, hopefully. I'm not sure what their idea of picky is.

Yeah, DC Area Weim Rescue covers Md. I did give them my phone number in case they needed any assistance. If you wanted to email them your contact also I'm sure that would be okay. info@aacspca.org

I also noticed that the shelter had marked the male from this post as not good with kids......i wonder if they have any experience with weims at all....

I just can't get them out of my head. I want to take them so terribly bad. I am working on hubby to get at least one of them out of there, it's most likely going to be astro if he agrees.

I'm begging, and being so nice... hopefully it works. Fingers crossed!
