As it goes with Weims, Jack has filled our home and our hearts with MANY great memories and stories. We're never short on "Jack stories" as he definitely marches to the beat of a different drummer.

My favorite story/deal with Jack: Lately when he goes into his Weimaraner Manic mode... all I have to do is shout "Roberto, please get Jack!" and almost immediately Jack comes to a dead stop, drops his ears and his head and slowly crawls up onto the couch and lyes down.

Jack KNOWS that if I call my husband in, he's in trouble and I mean business. Its almost like telling the kids "I'm going to call your dad" LOL same reaction ~ instant behavior!

So I'm curious, what is everyone elses fav weim story/memory?

One of my favorite memories is from when Luna was a teensy puppy... we were trying to teach her how to jump up on the bed... I'm sure you can all remember when they jump and miss... and run around barking at you then and jump and miss again... Smile

Whenever Marley doesn't want to be caught (she knows when it's bed time) she hides beneath the coffee table. Of course it's glass so we can see her, but she looks so sheepish. The best part is that when I drag her out, she is an instant angel. She lets me hug her and lay her in my lap and becomes a soft, sweet rag doll. At that point it's hard to do anything with her but love her.

One of my favorite things is when Scout "hides" under the bed. He puts his head under the bed and thinks I can't see him...but his butt is sticking out....it's hilarious.

Sky does that under the kitchen table, like I can't see her arse sticking out? Both of mine, we say "go nite, nite?" and they go down the hall to the bottom of the stairs, waiting for us to go up.

My favorite Kam memory was just before he died - I was tucking the girls in for the night and he was up there with us giving his goodnight kisses. I was sitting on the edge of one bed talking to the kids, so Kam laid down and unbeknownst to us all, his nubbin went inside a green croc. When I went to stand up, he started wagging his tail and there was this bright green croc hoppin around right behind Kam! It was one of those things - you had to see it to appreciate how freaking funny it was Laughing !!!!

At his first Christmas dinner, Gus (just a six month old pup at the time) jumped up on the counter and grabbed a filet while my mom and sister and I were setting the table. He gulped it down so quickly we didn't even notice it was gone until we were serving the meal, and realized we were short one steak!

Gus was a counter-surfer extraordinare. He also once ate an entire cantaloupe (rind and all -- we just found the seeds on the floor); an entire apple pie left on the counter and a box of 10 PowerBars (he actually unzipped a backpack left in the car to get to the PowerBars and unwrapped each one individually).

He also ate 40 little starfish that I had set on our desk to glue to our wedding invitations. Laughing

We always try to get Jager to sleep at the bottom of the bed but his favorite spot is between my boyfriend and me. My boyfriend hates this so he one night he made Jager sit at the bottom of the bed and every time he tried to get up he would be like stay. But as soon as we turn off the light he goes into stealth mode and he literally does an army crawl to get in between us…and if my boyfriend says JAGER…he will stop, then he thinks we are asleep he starts back up again…and no matter how late my boyfriend stays up to keep him from coming to the top of the bed…every morning I wake up he is there.. Very Happy

Awe, Kam.

Chevy and Hemi are so different.. they have so many.

Chevy loves to come up behind me when I am on the computer and 'persuade' me to get off by kissing me so gently on the cheek and gazing at me with those baby blues.

Hemi does these little circles every time I mention the word 'potty'. That word doesn't get used very often.. he goes NUTS Shocked .

I love the new puppy phase. When we first got Jade we loved to watch her try and drink water. Without fail every time she would soak her ears. More than once she was top heavy and fell in the water bowl head first. My favorite moment so far was when my hubby and dad took Jade to hike the Tetons. We were on our way moving to Alaska and stopped to visit my family in Idaho. Jade had only been in the hot/humid Texas weather so we were concerned about how she would do with all the snow. As they hiked up the mountain they ran into patches of snow. Jade fell in love and began body surfing down the mountain to cool off. In the video she runs as fast as she can to the top of the swow pile, dives and slides on her belly to the bottom. Once she stops, she runs up to the top to do it again. She was entertained with the snow for an hour. Priceless!
