Sorry time to rant...this weekend this lady comes up to me and says "Is that a weim?" I say "Yes." She says "Purebred?" I say "Yes." She says "Oh cool, I have one too. His name's Jackson."
Now, if you have one then should you have to ask his breed and if he's purebred? Just had to vent that nonsense! |

just to play the other side here, but once I was in a parking lot and saw a dog in a car that looked JUST like a vizsla. I asked the man if it was, in fact, a vizsla (keep in mind, I could not see the dogs body) and he said no, a yellow lab . Now, guess who looked like the dumba$$ here ! He probably went home and went on the YellowLabAddict site and talked about the stoopit lady wit her kidz thinkin the dog wuz a vizsla !

| My favorite is when they ask if that dog is "full-blooded." I love seeing ads for "full-blooded, spaded female" for sale. Silly silly. |

I wonder if that means it has a bunch of playing cards taped to it? |

When people ask me 'is it full-blooded' I get the dear in the headlight look, 'no, he/she is running a quart low, but it is pure-bred'. Sometimes I just can't help myself..........

Maybe that means they spaded her before she had her first estrus cycle, you know, so she's still "full".

Shannon, sorry I haven't been able to keep up with the 33 pages of post about Zane being sick. I am thinking about him a lot and hope that everything comes out okay. Toyann
Hi Wyatt my brother from the same mother...haha...you better stay out of trouble...your mom has enough to deal with with Zane's troubles. Give him lots of sloppy kisses for me! Thinking of you Zane! Love, Kasper

I've noticed that people either know its a Weimaraner and say it, or they ask and then go "A-WEIMA-WHAT?" |

We have gotten " is he pure-bred?" all the time...then when we say yes they say " he's fat....you can't see his spine" ok whatever ( ok so he is big=)
Then we have a ton of people who say " I had one of those...they where idiots, you can't train them". okie dokie...whatever....
Then we also get " don't you know those are high energy dogs?" Yes...after several months we do...we do....we do...haha, actually we had to get a dog who could keep up with us so it's all good. |
