Well the hell raiser cut herself on her face, It's about half an inch and kind of deep. The thing is her face is swelled up at the cut this morning but there is no puss or real redness. I've put triple anti-biotic ointment on it, any other advice? Other than take her to the vet. She's not acting funny or in obvious pain so I think it's just a new wound thing.

This dang dog I swear!

We have had some pretty good nashes on the legs here with our boys, I have called into the vet a few times when it has happened...they just said to keep the sore clean. And to watch it. We just usually clean with warm water and some soft paper towels. We couldn't put stuff on their wounds since they were where it could be licked off.

Hope it goes away soon, and that it heals up nicely.

Yeah she can't lick it off, It just looks bad the way her face is swelled up. But she lets me touch it and clean it, So I guess it looks worse than it actually is.......Poor girl.

Called the vet and they said as long as it's drying up and not hot it's probably just ok. They told me to use bacatracin on it and she'll do fine.

She's such a good girl about me taking care of her, she sits there so good no matter what I do to her. Then attacks me with kisses when we are done, I can't believe someone would give this girl away.

I wish Storm would sit still when I try to help her. She is a wiggle monster! You would think I'm cruel to her the way she acts when the ear cleaner comes out!

Do you know what she got cut on? I wonder if it could have been something she has an allergy to and that's why it's so swollen?

Her face is 100% better today, No swelling and its scabbed over. She needs to slow the hell down in the brush is what she needs to do. Rolling Eyes It's ok tho, it matches the scab on top of Ashley's head......stupid dogs anyways!

Around here it's either one or the other driving me crazy. The other day I told my husband that I'm taking a vacation...just going away for the weekend, I need a small break. HAAA!! I say that but I'd be more stressed if I wasn't here making sure everything is going right. Rolling Eyes

AH, the joys of being a SAHM....wouldn't have it any other way though.
