Not really. I gave Gracie Benadryl for a few days and kept her in her crate as much as possible and just kept her and Duke separated.

I had to crate Luna extra, and when she was out I had to keep her on a leash at ALL times to keep her from going zooom.

Phenergan is quite good too (makes them drowsy).
I would just keep him crated or on a lead for the first few days.

We didnt have a problem keeping Jasper quiet. I didnt give him any of his pain meds though, I think it slowed him down being a little bit sore. We put Jaspers crate in the living room and he spent probably the first three days in there resting, he would come out to eat and potty and then he would just go back in and lay down. We didnt even close the door on his crate. When he was back to his normal self a few days later we just made sure we kept a close eye on his incision and tried to keep him from jumping up too much.

Thanks all for the helpful suggestions!

Jaeger was drowsy the first night he came home but after a good long sleep he woke up the next morning back to normal and ready to play. I don't think he realized that he had surgery Laughing Anyway during the first week we used his crate and took him outside on leash. He still has his stitches in for another week but it's healed up well so we have been giving him more freedom indoors and have started taking him for (short) walks again.
