I cannot believe this *poop*. I'd like to find out who got them. I haven't heard from the Iowa rep for Heartland today but we cover all of MO as well. I wish we would have been able to do something before they were probably taken by some stupid f'in Neanderthals who want to put their pups on the black puppy market. SOBs!!!!
OMG, I am livid! Stipid people, I can't believe and I will say it again, some people should not own animals, some of these people shouldn't procreate. ARGH!!! |

I was in contact with Heartland and they called the number as soon as I emailed the posting to them...she emailed me right back and said when she called the dogs were already gone. so unfortunately it sounds like chances are they have not gone into a rescue but have been scooped up by someone else lookin to make a buck off those puppies.

Yeah. I had also emailed Heartland.
Unfortunately there are probably people who just check Craigslist looking for dogs like this. MO is full of millers and BYB. If someone like that got them...
I guess, unfortunately, I saw the listing too late. |

That was just sickening to read. The juvenile inside me wants to call the number and leave them nasty messages. It would serve them right for being so awful to their dogs . . . . and for being stupid enough to advertise their phone number on Craigslist! Those poor dogs, having to live with such stupid humans. I *hope* their new owner is an improvement.

| i am curious about something. can we call ASPCA or other organization to tell them the story and what we suspect? i am sure they have the autority to go there,ask who took them and go check on the pups. what do you guys think? can it be done?????? |

I am an ASPCA and PETA Member. I have never come across them doing anything that size unless they had someone local in the area that showed some interest in investigating the situation. Given that the dogs are already gone, there isn't much leg to stand on. i doubt she took an address of who took them. If it was a puppy mill, there is a good chance they gave false information when obtaining the two. Pisses me off to no end. Nothing against the two dogs either but am I the only one who looked at that picture and said wow, they look a little weird. They both look like they are pure bred and I know she said she had the papers on the male but those two looked like complete opposites, and who the hell sells their puppies for $100.00 a pop! I wonder if she sold the last little to a pet store. Makes me want to call just to harass her. |

| I know what you mean about the two weims looking a little strange, we were thinking the same....the female especially! I was very very tempted to call and just give them hell over the phone but i thing with people like these it would do no good. I am still terribly upset about this whole thing, its just unbeleivable. |
