Whoever you are...I love you. I'm not sure why...but I've been thinking about that dog a lot. I actually really regretted looking at that page. I wrote some emails to whatever gundog rescues I could find on the net...but I never got any replies. I didn't have a lot of hope for her. I'm so happy now!! THANKYOU!!  I just refused to go back to that page for fear of seeing "No longer available". |

Are any of you all on this list actively involved in rescue? Are any of you interested in being a foster home? The situation for weimaraners in the US has reached critical mass. Rescues are full, they cannot help it, and dogs are being euthanized more than we would care to know (and not just weims.)
There are many nice dogs who perish because there are no fosters available. Just think about it...the life you save may be a weim's. |
