AAAHHHH!! I just looked and can't believe I saw a WEIM in this shelter!! Not much info to go on (don't even know sex of dog) but no time... they are WAY overcrowded, they euth'd yesterday and will tomorrow & Wednesday!!
Posting this dog everywhere... and there's a sad, skinny Pointer there, too... too many...

Alex is a beautiful Weimaraner. It isn't too often that you see these
sweet dogs at Animal Control, but here he is! Alex walked well on the
leash and he pooped and peed outside, which is a very good indication
that he may already be housebroken. He is absolutely handsome and he
enjoyed getting some loving. Come and meet Alex soon before his time
runs out!

| That page is HEARTBREAKING! I didn't think I would ever stop scrolling down! There are SO many dogs - and that's just 1 shelter...that makes me so sad.... |

I just sent an email to Weim Rescue of the South alerting them about his guy...hopefully they can find him a good home. So sad looking at all those other pooches with the "no longer available" tag. That poor little guy that was 10 years old and dropped off by his owners who were moving....  how could they do that??? |

Ugh, that makes me so sick to see that! I hope someone nearby can get that poor Weimie out of there! |

| ugh . . "no longer available". that's crap they should be forced to put "euthanized". That would get the point across to people . . .Life is just not fair. That pit-bull mix is a beauty, but looks like he's a goner for sure. I wish wish wish we could afford another dog. |

I think there is help for the 11 year old sad-looking Pointer... *crossing fingers*!!
I know, this shelter is tough to look at... they seem to euth at random and Pits/Pit mixes are usually first to go... I don't get people down there, either.
If I hear anything on this guy, I'll keep everyone posted! |
