Ruby: "Explains concept of a light bulb and how they work, looks at the pathetic job of wiring the border collie has done, shakes her head, rewires it and replaces the light bulb with an energy saving bulb to 'cut down on energy wastage'."
My girls smarter than a damn collie, and noone can tell me otherwise. |

LOL, this is a funny one!
Maya: "oh god, please throw it!!!" (alternately, "ah something to add to my collection of things to help me take over the world!")
Sage: "snooooooze...do i need to get up?"
Macy: too busy trying to chew on me to notice the lightbulb. |

Josie: "I'll change the light bulb-- is that a moth? (runs off in one direction) Oooh! A bone! (runs off in the other direction) A piece of kibble! (runs in another direction) Oh! The light bulb! (runs to the light bulb)" Repeat.
Cache would probably respond like Ruby or say he wasn't going to change the lightbulb like a human until he is recognized as a human. |

| Speaking of light bulb. I have a really funny story from last night. Its probably one of those ya had to be there stories but I am still giggling just thinking about it....So we have friends staying with us for two weeks until they can close on their new house so we have had to be really quiet at night since she is a nurse and gets up really early. I was making sure the house was locked up before bed last night (with my weimy shadow at my side) and had already turned the hall light off so daddy could sleep. I went into the living room to turn off the lamp which made it pitch black in the house. I turned to feel and tiptoe my way down the hall and all the sudden *THUD!!!!* Trinity had gotten a little to excited and underestimated the distance from head to wall. Of course she wakes everyone in the house up with the thud and my immediate hysterical laughter. Apparently my dogs sense of smell was a little off last night. lol!!! |

Now everyone thinks I'm nuts at work... as I just finished laughing hysterically for a few minutes. |

Kodiak - "nana na na naa .... you cant catch me" followed swiftly by "OMG is that the cat flap I hear?" drops bulb and replaces it with lil black and white fluffy kitty...."Just giving her a warm welcome you know!" |
