I am so sorry for your sick girl. I could not finish watching the video, it is just heart wrenching. I so hope for a quick turn around. Hang in there and take care of yourself as well. -Andrea

She had some dinner tonight, which I'm really happy about. I cooked her up some yummy chicken mince. We've broken every rule now we had ever set for Ruby. I have been laying with her on the couch, on the bed. I don't care anymore, having a clean couch doesn't seem as important as just snuggling up together.

Oh tell me... I slept on the floor last night... wet as it is from TRYING to steam it clean form the remanants of Mon night.

I can't bring myself to watch Ruby's video... Just know that I'm praying for her as much as for my own two right now. Smile

That was heartbreaking. It just reminded me of how sad and miserable Atlas looked when he had parvo, so different from his usual self. I am praying extra hard for her and you.

I'm glad she ate dinner anyway.

Does she still have a fever? Holly's was scary high. Is she one anything to bring her fever down?

I hope she's feeling better this morning (your time)

Hi Lynne,
thankyou so much for the offer of Derramaxx, I've called a man in Sydney this morning about Ruby and waiting for a call back (one of Marg's contacts). I'm going to talk to him about the pain meds and HOD as well and what his opinion is. If like you, and he thinks that she should be on something the I will definately go to another vet and get something prescribed. I don't want Ruby to be in any pain, but I don't want to risk her doing further damage to herself. I've given her everything the vet has asked, and I too feel she should be on pain meds. I would want to be if I was a dog.
thanks again,
Ange

She's still got low fever 39.6 (not sure what that is F), still shivering and generally the same. I've got to go to work in a couple of hours! I'm dreading leaving her, but I know I have to.
