What a cutie! I hope he's able to get his surgery soon...
He's right down the road from where I work... if I can, I'll try to go see him.

We had a dog in TSWR who had the surgery and did very well!
he's a beauty I swear!
Someone PLEASE go get him. Who covers NH? Nutmeg or Yankee?
I see there's a sponsor button on his page, I wonder if the $ goes to his surgery? |

I think it's for the $25 sponsorship that you can choose to do for each animal, but I'm guessing (if it's Paypal) that you could put that in the notes section...??
I went to go see him at lunch, what a cutie! He's much smaller than his picture makes him look, I'd say around the 55 lb. range right now. He's on the thin side, at least a little more ribby than I'd like. He has more of a slight build right now, but being only 11 months, he still has growing left to do! But I think he'll be more of a lean-built male.
He was outside in a large grassy pen and was anxious (another couple took his buddy on a walk), so I'm sure he's been burning off calories in the three weeks that he's been there. Average energy level for his age, doesn't seem overly hyper. He isn't fixed yet and his eyes didn't look as bad as I had expected. Just a little red around the edges. He let me hug him and stood still for a pat, even though he was distracted looking for his friend. He seems very friendly and good-natured, he was pulling on the leash but never tried jumping on us and didn't whine or bark.
(Nice shelter, too... neat cat playrooms inside and everyone is very nice and helpful.)
Total cutie-patootie!! |
