| not allowed to bring her home today (insert really sad face here). They want to keep her quiet, she's on strict crate rest. Seeing as we don't have a crate, probably best to just leave her be. I will pick her up tomorrow. |

Ruby's still in, her fever has come back today. I'm waiting for the vet to call me so we can discuss things. We aren't going ahead with surgery at this stage.
I hate waiting.. I just want her home with me but I know that she's probably in the best place at the moment.

OMG...poor baby. They need to come up with a schedule for the pain meds. Scout was on fentanyl. He got a 50 MG patch every three days and the derramax on top of that.
Please, please keep us posted. |

I have no idea at this stage about what type of pain meds or dosages they have her on. I hope they have her on Derramaxx though.. I'll post once I have a phone call.
I've taken the day off work today so I can be home if they need me. |

I think ruby might be the weim with the most posts. But, seriously, we do love you Ruby! I hope that she's feeling better soon. I want you to have her sleep next to you again! I can't imagine how hard this is for you. |

Ah, Ange, I'm sorry Ruby's still inthe hosp...
B n J were in last night til tonight... they got into my NB dog food rolls and ate 56 2.75oz rolls!
I'm gonna post details on their own thread since this is all about Ruby doo....
I'm saying so many prayers for Weimies right now...
I just also wanted to comment that yes, I find they look different at the vet and even once they're home for a bit...Blue looks like a little dog, all curled up and helpless. Junie seems much better... |
