Ange, Holly had similar but less severe episodes caused by her HOD. It sounds like Marg is going to put you in touch with a great Vet, I hope he is able to help you and your Vet get this under control. I feel so bad for you and her , I'll be thinking about you guys and checking back in the morning to see how she's doing.
Thanks for signing in Marg! |

I wish I knew where Ange was located in Australia. I hate sitting here waiting.....she is probably at work as it is only 3.06pm here at the moment.
I've emailed her as well. Hope she sees one of these. |

I found this in a post from when she first joined.

I'm in Orange NSW - so she had a bit of a drive to come home to us (we had been recommended Bromhund by a few people). |

Thanks for the info. I know the breeders. Sadly they are all at the Worlds Champ Shows and wont be back 'til the middle of July. I'm trying connections in the state where she lives. She is out in country NSW. i'll keep trying....

Lynne, thankyou so much for the contact. I have emailed Marg and I will speak to her tomorrow. Your a wonderful person.
Marg, I have emailed you back. Thankyou so SO much for the opportunity to speak with you. I'm hoping that you might be able to give me some guidance with this.
Ruby is still in hospital. I will ring the vet first in the morning to get an update. Allan unfortunately isn't the best with details.
I'm only just home from work - such an intense night, we had a woman flown in who was attacked by her own father with an axe. Her injuries are horrific. This man also axed his wife and two grankiddies who were just 5 and 7. They didn't survive. For those Aussies you may have heard about it in the news. It's so horrible to be involved with something like this. SO very draining. |

OMG, what a horrible day for you. I am so glad I was able to put you in contact with Marg. She is wonderful and if anyone can help you get help for Ruby, she can.
It seems as though Ruby's case of HOD is a bit more severe than originally thought. She will come through it, it is very hard to see them in so much pain. I hope someone can explain the bleeding.
Please keep us posted and I am so sorry about the other thing.

I hope Ruby feels better soon! I am always on the lookout for Ruby stories when I log on here. I can't imagine what you guys are going through, but just keep having positive thoughts (easier said than done!) We will be thinking of you. Wilson sends Ruby some weimie kisses! |
